Mail Forwarding – Pricing & Rules
What we forward
- Only mail that fits entirely inside a standard legal-size envelope (8.5″ × 14″)
- No packages, padded envelopes, oversized mail, magazines, or rigid mail
- No exceptions
Pricing
- $9.99 base fee + carrier shipping fee + taxes
- Charges are authorized and processed once the private carrier has accepted the package for delivery
- Must fit in a legal-size envelope (8.5″ × 14″). No packages.
- Ships last Wednesday of each month (or next business day if closed).
Forwarding schedule
- Mail is forwarded once per month the last Wednesday
- If the last Wednesday falls on one of the following, the forwarding will occur on the next available business day
- a statutory (federal or provincial) holiday,
- a PostalGates closure, or
- a non-business day
Parcel Delivery (Hamilton & St-Catherine only)
Service Area
- Delivery is available only within the City of Hamilton and St-Catherine
Delivery Schedule
- Deliveries are made every Wednesday before 10 p.m.
- If Wednesday falls on one of the following, the forwarding will occur on the next available business day
- a statutory (federal or provincial) holiday,
- a PostalGates closure, or
- a non-business day
